Make a financial contribution
We're not registered as a official charity yet, but it is on our to-do list. In the meantime, there are still a number of ways that you can make a contribution.
When making a donation, please specify how you'd like it used. For example:
- For a specific project (if so, which one)
- Infrustructure costs
- General support
- Operating costs
- We're always on the hunt for useful building materials, which we can used for our various projects (like the delivery boxes and collection cages. Things like:
- Wood / planks
- Nails / screws
- Chicken wire
Donate your skill (or an item)
We're planning a series of raffles to raise funds for the various projects. The first one will be for a small website, created by one of the co-founders Chris. Whatever your skill is, it will be useful to someone in the community, so offer up a specific task, whole project, building work, private chef'ing, accounting services, or physical items like furniture, electronics, kitchen gear, hunting gear, etc.
One of the best ways to contribute to the project is by getting involved. Weather you're a creative type, content wizard, finance ninja, building ninja or tech guru - we'll take all the help we can get.
To register your interest, head over to the contact page and select Get Involved as the message reason, then fill out the various fields and submit the form.
We're open and transparent
We are driven by a desire to ensure to overall wellbeing of the community and are not motivated by monetary incentive. It goes without saying that the project needs to be sustainable and cover it's own costs, but we're not in it for the money. In order to ensure full transparency, all financial contributions, along with how they were spent will be listed publicly on our site. You can see our Open Organisation summary for an always update-to-date list.
